We came here this past Sunday while exploring the mall a little during Tet. We were blown away by the imense selection of goodies from traditional Vietnamese cookies to pastries & candies. We brought home some sesame cookies & peanut cakes; the cookies are wonderful with a nutty taste with the sesame seeds & the peanut cakes remind me of peanut briddle; so peanuty & crispy. I will definitely come back next Sunday to pick up some different items. The service is friendly & efficient. So, for some wonderful Vietnamese sweet treats at low prices in a casual atmosphere, OMAI cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

This place has THE BEST BEEF JERKY. All homemade, so many varieties! Pls all those delicious Vietnamese snacks. Love it here

THE go-to spot when it comes to being filled with "bizarre foods" and snacks of Asia. O-Mai carries an assortment of candies, pickled fruits, pastries, jerky, dried sweet|savory snacks, & that's just naming a few... Awesome customer service from the young lady who assisted me today. I arrived and was immediately greeted which doesn't usually happen. I let her know I was interested in purchasing beef jerky for a family member but I wasn't sure which kind she typically buys. With the sales associate's help and the few bits of details I had knowledge of, we were able to come up with the flavoring I was seeking. Prices can be on the higher side but the items for sale here can't be easily found at your local store. Products are primarily shipped from Asia or Europe so that comes into play. Head up: samples are offered but they are super teeny tiny!! Lmao. Don't be shy to ask, something is better than nothing right??

I purchased some beef jerky from here. They have so many different options it's amazing! They also allow you to try samples of whatever your heart desire. Keep in mind the polite thing to do is actually buy something if you're going to go on a happy tasting spree! I get all happy here...it's great! What I appreciate most about this shop are the employees who actually listen to my directions on the weight. I bought 7lbs of beef jerky requesting they weigh it by 1kb bags separately. They really did put in the amount requested unlike other shops that will overstuff the bag and claim they can't tell. Doh! Yes you can otherwise you're not doing your job right. That's what the scale is there for! So thank you O Mai employees for sticking to customer's requests!

Stop by O- Mai for that fire childhood Asian snacks that you've always eaten but never knew where to buy. My family comes here often for their variety of beef jerkies and dried candies, especially during New Years. The workers there have always been friendly to us and prices are reasonable if not cheap. We're all for supporting small businesses within the community. I'd recommend stopping by if you're trying to broaden your taste buds or simply want something nostalgic.

Really cool spot to stop by for snacks that are mostly imported from Vietnam and parts of China. There are pickled, dried, salty snacks of all kinds. This place has a few competitors on the same corridor but I have found the treats from here to have the most freshness. During my most recent visit, I picked up a half a pound of spicy dried squid for about $14. They have different options in the same family and are willing to give you samples to help you determine which one best meets your taste buds. There are dried fruits, plums, raisins, and other items that are dehydrated and then seasoned with salt or sugar. Definitely worth checking out if you want a sneak peak of what you would find at a Vietnamese or Chinese Farmer's Market.
